I’ve always had screen protector and case on my iPhone. When I got the iPhone 12 Pro, I wanted to ditch the case but didn’t have the balls. So when I got the iPhone 13 Pro in the beautiful white. I decided “fuck it”. And went without both case and screen protector.

Day 2 of owning the device, I left it in my pocket with keys. Screen came out scratched. Not just a small scratch either, a couple of quite deep scratches. It hadn’t been in there particularly long, and certainly hadn’t been leant on or anything. There was no reason it should have been able to get damaged. But yet, here it was. Scratched, deeply.

That being said… I have dropped my iPhone more than I’ve ever dropped any other iPhone with a case. Because it’s a slippery little sucker. This isn’t an exaggerated number, it must be about 30-40 times now. No significant damage.

That that being being said said; I have only dropped it on concrete once or twice. And the metal bezel does bare some war wounds.
