Yahoo! also missed the boat with Microsoft in 2008 IIRC. Microsoft approached them with $40+ billion 😂 absolutely insane amount of money. Eventually Yahoo! was bought by AOL/Verizon for a measly 10% of Microsoft’s offering just 10 years earlier, for $4.5bn.

Still better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, but wow did they mess up.
